Announcing Our New Status as a 501(c)3 Nonprofit Organization
We are celebrating an organizational milestone with news that the PIAI has transitioned to a fully-fledged nonprofit organization! The official news: we have been granted 501c3 nonprofit status and are recognized as a charitable organization by the IRS.
We made this leap for a number of reasons, the biggest one being we want to amplify our position as the premier Private Investigators Association in Idaho, serving Idaho as well as our surrounding states. As a tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization, the PIAI is allowed to receive tax-deductible donations and apply for grants. These are huge advantages, and when it comes to our mission and purpose, we want to leave no stone unturned.
“I am so grateful for the dedicated efforts of the members of the Private Investigators Association of Idaho, our Board of Directors, and for the invaluable contributions of our staunch supporters. Together, we continue to cement a foundation that promotes, educates and provides resources to our valued PIAI members and the private investigation industry at large” said Ben Pearson, President.
